Hawangen, May 5, 2025 – Hans Hundegger AG announces that the company’s founder, Hans Hundegger, will hand over the position of Chairman of the Executive Board to his nephew, Josef Hundegger. However, Hans Hundegger will remain with the company as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, although he intends to gradually withdraw from day-to-day operations.

Nua Manufacturing, based in Carlow, has successfully installed the first new generation Hundegger SC480 machine. Nua Manufacturing in Carlow has installed the first Hundegger SC480 machine in the UK/Ireland, which is a state-of-the-art timber processing machine with a 480mm working width and 200mm working thickness. The machine also processes beams up to 13m long. The SC480 will enhance NUA's capability to process various timber frame components, in quantity and high speed, and will eventually allow them to work on Glulam roof systems and other structures, supported by Hundegger's Cambium software for seamless design integration.

Significant increase in productivity thanks to simultaneous processing For over 20 years, Biber Holzbearbeitung, which does the joining for KLH sales partner ABA Holz van Kempen, has relied on Hundegger’s joinery machines. The company recently purchased a PBA-Drive 3600, the latest model in the series of panel processing machines, for which Biber Holzbearbeitung also acted as a development partner together with the Bavarian machine manufacturer.
